Kayo is a digital presence service company for SMEs in the Middle East. We operate this website at kayo.ae and handle the personal data you provide when enquiring about or using our services.

When you submit an enquiry through our join form, we collect:

• Business name — to identify your business
• Your name — to address you personally
• Phone number — to reach you via call or WhatsApp
• Email address — to send follow-up correspondence (optional)
• Plan interest — to understand which package suits you
• Google Maps link — to understand your current online presence (optional)
• Preferred time to talk — to schedule a call at a convenient time (optional)
• Additional notes — any extra context you choose to share (optional)
• Current website URL — if you already have a website (optional)

We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance monitoring. These are not linked to your enquiry data.

We use the information you provide solely to:

• Respond to your enquiry and build your site preview
• Contact you to discuss your digital presence needs
• Send service-related updates if you become a Kayo client

We do not use your data for automated profiling, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to delivering our service to you.

We process your personal data on the following grounds:

• Legitimate interest — to respond to your business enquiry and provide the service you requested, in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45/2021 (PDPL).
• Consent — where required under applicable law, including the UK GDPR for users in the United Kingdom.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share it only with:

• Our internal team — staff at Kayo who need access to fulfil your enquiry
• Infrastructure providers — hosting and database services used to operate kayo.ae (e.g. Vercel, Supabase), bound by data processing agreements

All third-party providers are contractually required to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify.

Enquiry data is retained for up to 2 years from the date of submission, or for as long as you remain a Kayo client. After that period, it is securely deleted unless legal obligations require us to keep it longer.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict how we process your data
• Withdraw consent at any time (where consent is the basis for processing)

We use HTTPS encryption, access controls, and secure infrastructure to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we apply industry-standard safeguards and review them regularly.
